Welcome to the listing for the 12 days of TLGG, perfect as a lite advent or even as a 12 days of Christmas.

For this years theme I have gone all festive. A nutcracker themed countdown box, inspired by rich and opulent festive images creating a rich coloured fade with an exclusively illustrated and designed fabric by Helena Elliott Illustration for the perfect matching project bags.

The advent will feature 12 brand new colourways and will be dyed in a fade made of semi solids minis to allow you to start and end anywhere in the palette.

The photos included on this post are the inspiration images for both the yarn and the exclusively designed fabric for project bags (more on this shortly)

Advent includes:

• 12 x 20g individually wrapped mini skeins
• Surprise mini notions & fun treats to compliment the theme!

NB: Unlike some dyers there is currently no option to add a Christmas Day skein as part of this advent yet there will be a Christmas Cast on Box based on the same theme later in the year.  So watch this space!

Yarn bases available:

• High Twist Sock (4ply) - 75% superwash merino/25% nylon (20g/85m)
  Gold Sparkle Sock (4ply) - 75% superwash merino/20% nylon/5% gold stellina (20g/80m)
• Yak Sock (4ply) - 70% superwash merino, 20% yak, 10% nylon (20g/80m)
• Ultra DK - 100% siperwah merino (20g/42m)
• Silky Yak DK (Luxe) - 60% superwash merino, 20% silk, 20% yak (20m/42m)

Project Bags (Optional Extra)

This year I am working with a wonderful illustrator Helena Elliott to create an exclusively drawn and designed fabric for the project bags. This is being designed based on the nutcracker theme and is based on the same colour palette and moodboard. This fabric will then be printed especially for these bags and won't be available anywhere else. These are not to be missed and will be exclusive to the Christmas offering in 2023.

Tardis Small Drawstring (New Style/Size) £35 - The drawstring version of the Tardis small bag. Perfect for shawl, accessory, even two-at-a-time sock knitting, on the go knitting worn on your wrist and works perfectly as a yarn bowl at home or at knit night. Approximate Size: 10" by 8.5" by 3.5"

Boxy Bucket Bag £40 - A beautifully sturdy small bucket bag, with both internal and external pockets, fitting 2+ skeins it is perfect for those smaller projects. All the space of a Tardis bag and more, with tote bag style handles and inside pockets. Approximate Size: 10" by 9" by 4"

Price and Instalments

The 24 mini skein calendar costs £85

The 24 mini skein calendar with silky yak DK (luxe) costs £95

To help spread the cost of this item there is the option to pay in three installments. I will be sending invoices in June and July for the final two instalments. The full balance needs to be paid by 31st August. 

Installments will vary if you add an optional project bag to your advent calendar. 

Price & Instalment Details

Please note payment in full and installment 1 will have postage costs added at cheackout, costs above are purely for the advent.

The first payment is a non refundable payment to allow me to purchase supplies. If all payments are not made by 31st August, no calendar will be shipped. Please do get in contact if you need more time to make payments, for any reason. 

Shipping

All advents will ship during late September/ early October and will be sent tracked and insured. You will recieve an email confirmation including your tracking number when your order ships.
