Welcome to the second TLGG Advent calendar. 

For this years theme I'm going with a paradise themed countdown box, inspired by tropical paradise images creating a bright and saturated fade with an exclusively illustrated and designed fabric by Emma of Dainty Forest for the perfect matching project bags.

The advent will feature 24 brand new colourways and will be dyed in a tonal fade.

The photos included on this post are the inspiration images for both the yarn and the exclusively designed fabric for project bags (more on this shortly)

Advent includes:

• 24 x 20g individually wrapped and numbered mini skeins
• Surprise special extras that compliment the theme 

This year you will be able to also add the below from the listings in the advent collection;

• A Christmas Day skein which will be a varigated/Speckles colour way. 
  
• A tonal skein which will fit with the advent colours. You can add as many as the pattern you want to knit needs and in the same base as your minis or a different base.
  

Yarn bases available:

• High Twist Sock (4ply) - 75% superwash merino/25% nylon (20g/85m)
• Silver Sparkle Sock (4ply) - 75% superwash merino/20% nylon/5% silver stellina (20g/80m)
• Luxe - Alpaca Silk Cashmere  (4ply) - 70% light grey baby alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere (20g/80m)
• Merino DK - 100% superwash merino (20g/42m)
• Silver Sparkle DK - 75% superwash merino/20% nylon/5% silver stellina (20m/42m)

Project Bags (Optional Extra)

This year I am working with a wonderful illustrator Emma from Dainty Forest to create an exclusively drawn and designed fabric for the project bags.

This is being designed based on the paradise theme and is based on the same colour palette and moodboard. This fabric will then be printed especially for these bags and won't be available anywhere else.

These are not to be missed and will be exclusive to the Christmas offering in 2024.

Large Drawstring Bag £45 - Perfect for those bigger projects, Keep your yarn and project together for the organisation and storage or for while you are working away either ay home or at knit night. Approximate Size: 10" by 9" by 4"

Large Bucket Bag £55 - A beautifully sturdy bucket bag with internal pockets, fitting 9+ skeins it is perfect for those larger projects. Approximate Size:14.5" by 14" by 5.5"

Price and Instalments

The 24 mini skein calendar costs £155

The 24 mini skein calendar with Natural Alpaca, Silk, Cashmere base (luxe) costs £175

To help spread the cost of this item there is the option to pay in three installments. I will be sending invoices in June and July for the final two instalments. The full balance needs to be paid by 31st August. 

Instalments will vary if you add an optional project bag to your advent calendar, any other optional extras will be charged with the first instalment.

Please note payment in full and instalment 1 will have postage costs added at checkout, costs above are purely for the advent.

The first payment is a non refundable payment to allow me to purchase supplies. If all payments are not made by 31st August, no calendar will be shipped. Please do get in contact if you need more time to make payments, for any reason. 

Shipping

All advents will ship during September/October and will be sent tracked and insured. You will recieve an email confirmation including your tracking number when your order ships.

Postage costs are a fixed cost as follows and paid with the first instalment; UK £7, Europe £17 , Worldwide £28
