Battledean is a lively speckled hand-dyed yarn, featuring autumn speckle with a beige base and maroon, green, gold, brown speckles — perfect for adding depth, interest, and colour variation to your knitting or crochet projects.

 

All yarns in this listing are dyed to order and will be shipped within 2–4 weeks. Dyed to order is a great option if you're planning a larger project and want to ensure your skeins are from the same dye batch for the most consistent results. It also means less waste and more flexibility—win-win!

It is important to know that  different fibres and yarn weights take dye differently and so you might see variation to the colour shown if you purchase on a different yarn base. For example, fluff often dyes lighter.

Although I work to make the product photos as true as possible, colours will vary depending on your monitor or device.

All my yarn is hand-dyed in small batches and variations between skeins should be expected. I recommend purchasing dyed to order If you are buying more than one skein of the same colourway so they will be dyed all in the same batch. With this in mind, I would always recommend alternating skeins or knitting from both ends of the same ball if you are concerned about colour pooling or mismatching. Care Instructions

The Little Grey Girl yarns are hand-dyed using professional acid dyes. Although rinsed well, there may be a slight colour bleed on the first wash.

We do recommend hand washing all items made from our yarns separately, as hand knits are very delicate. Lay flat to dry.
