Details

Deceptively compact on the outside and brilliantly spacious inside, our Tardis Drawstring Bag has a generous base designed to hold two yarn cakes, with room remaining for your work in progress and essential notions.

It’s an ideal choice for shawls, scarves and other small-to-medium projects—or even two-at-a-time sock knitting. The soft cotton drawstring cord closes the bag neatly and allows your yarn to feed through easily while you work, while the herringbone cotton wrist strap keeps your project close at hand. Its structured shape also means it can double as a handy yarn bowl at home or on the go.

Choose a fabric to complement your project, contrast with your yarn or simply because it makes you smile.

Care

Every item from The Little Grey Girl is thoughtfully handmade or hand-dyed in small batches. Because of this, each piece is unique and may vary slightly from the photographs shown.

Project bags are individually handmade, so fabric placement will vary from bag to bag. This means the item you receive may not feature the exact section of fabric shown in the listing photos. Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of each bag.

We do our best to photograph colours as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device settings.

If you have any questions before placing your order, please don't hesitate to get in touch—we're always happy to help.

Information

To help your handmade yarn look its best for years to come, we recommend treating it with a little extra care.

  • Hand wash in cool or lukewarm water using a gentle wool wash.
  • Avoid rubbing, wringing or twisting the fibres.
  • Gently squeeze out excess water and roll in a towel to remove moisture.
  • Reshape your finished item and lay it flat to dry, away from direct heat or sunlight.
  • Store your yarn and finished projects in a cool, dry place.

Although our yarns are professionally dyed and thoroughly rinsed, some colours—particularly rich reds, deep blues and highly saturated shades—may release a small amount of excess dye during the first wash. This is perfectly normal and should not affect the finished project.
