Calumma is a genus of chameleons from Madagascar. These socks can be like a chameleon: you can knit them down using just two colors or a tonal yarn or some mini skeins or all the scraps and leftovers of socks yarn you have, and create fun scrappy socks changing colors as often as a chameleon. 

These socks are designed in mosaic knitting which uses only knit, purl and slip stitches. It’s a very easy way to create a color work effect while only holding one strand of yarn at a time. It’s as simple as knitting stripes. Really!

High Twist Sock - 75% Superwash merino, 25% Nylon - 425m per 100g

Care Details

Yarns are dyed using professional acid dyes and rinsed well. I recommend hand washing separatly gently in cool water with a little wool wash the first time as colours may bleed slightly. Lay flat to dry. 

As with all hand-dyed yarns, there may be variations in colours.I would also recommend alternating skeins if you are concerned about colour pooling or mismatching.
